TrueEdge Odds Update, October 24 — Another Quiet Stretch, a Correction on Outlier's Price, and the Annual-Billing Comparison Done Properly

Nothing a subscriber would notice has shipped since our October 22 update. So this one does the comparison more carefully: Outlier's $19.99 is a per-month rate billed upfront for a year, which our last update did not say, and once every plan is priced on the same basis the gaps look different. OddsJam, Unabated and DarkHorse are "not verified today.

Disclosure: TrueEdge Wire and TrueEdge Odds have the same owner. This is first-party advocacy, not independent testing. Every TrueEdge fact below describes what is deployed and live today. Every competitor price was read from that vendor's own page on October 24, 2026, and each page is linked. Where we could not read a price, we say so. Nothing here is carried forward from an earlier article, including our own.

Pinnacle, January 5, 2024, explaining the vig, the margin every no-vig fair price on this list is calculated by removing.

1. What shipped since October 22: nothing

For the second update in a row, there is no new feature to report. Nothing committed since the last piece has reached every running TrueEdge surface. Work that is merged but not deployed does not count as shipped, so it is not here, and we are not going to present maintenance as a product change.

2. A correction to our last update: Outlier's $19.99 is billed annually

On October 22 we called Outlier Premium "$19.99 a month" without saying how it is billed. On Outlier's plans section today, every price is marked "*Billed upfront annually." Premium is $19.99 a month, Premium+ $29.99 and Pro + React Live $79.99, all paid a year at a time. The page's toggle offers monthly plans as well, but the monthly-billed prices did not render for our reader, so we cannot tell you what they are. Our October 22 piece compared that $19.99 with our $79.99 monthly price, which set an annual-billed figure against a monthly one. The fair comparison is with our $63.99 annual-billed rate, and that is what we use below.

3. What TrueEdge costs, on both billing bases

TrueEdge (Base) is $79.99 billed monthly, or $63.99 a month billed yearly: $767.90 a year. It includes the +EV feed priced against a de-vigged fair line; arbitrage with the locked return and stake split; middles with their width; low-hold pairs; sides, totals, team totals, alternates and props across every major sport; line-movement history; saved filters; alert rules by sport, market, book, edge and stake, delivered in-app, to Discord or to your own webhook; a hedge finder; a filter for the books legal in your state; manual bet tracking scored for closing line value and ROI; and the promo optimizer for bonus bets, site credit, second-chance bets, boosts, insurance and rebates.

TrueEdge Live is $299.99 billed monthly, or $239.99 billed yearly: $2,879.90 a year. It adds the full odds board, in-play prices, real-time streaming, your choice of de-vig method (multiplicative, additive, power or Shin), one-click betslip links, sharp books including Pinnacle and Circa, regional books, automatic bet import from a connected book, and push alerts to your phone. Push alerts are Live-only.

The exchange add-on is $19.99 a month on Base and is included in Live. It adds exchange prices to the feed and access to the venues' order books. Depth at each price level is listed as "coming soon," so it is not available yet. Both plans start with one 7-day free trial per account. VIP has no published price.

4. Outlier on the same basis: still far cheaper at entry, closer at the top

Annual against annual, Outlier Premium is $19.99 a month and TrueEdge Base is $63.99. Multiply out the per-month figure and Premium is about $240 for the year; Outlier's page did not show the upfront total, so treat that as our arithmetic. Base is $767.90. For a +EV feed, sharp-book odds, middles and arbitrage, which is what Outlier lists for Premium, the cheaper product is still about a third of the price. The correction narrows the gap from four times to three. It does not close it.

At the top end the comparison flips. Outlier's Pro + React Live is $79.99 a month billed annually, which multiplies out to about $960 a year, above TrueEdge Base at $767.90. The two do not cover the same ground. Pro adds Outlier's React Live app and boost analysis. Base adds closing-line tracking, the hedge finder, the state filter and promo conversion. Which is worth more depends on what you actually do after you find a bet. Two caveats from the page itself: Premium+ is sold under an "Early Bird Rate" button, and Pro shows "62% off." Both read as promotional prices that may not last.

5. OddsShopper: monthly prices only, and a published book count

OddsShopper Core is $99.95 a month and Pro is $149.95, read today on OddsShopper's subscribe page, with a 7-day trial. The page offers weekly, monthly and annual billing and a "Save 17%" label, but showed no annual price. On monthly billing, TrueEdge Base at $79.99 is $20 cheaper than Core. At the live tier the gap runs the other way and is much larger: TrueEdge Live is $299.99 against at most $149.95 for OddsShopper's in-game EV and in-game arbitrage. As on Thursday, the per-plan checkmarks did not render, so we cannot say which of those features start at Core.

6. OddsJam, Unabated and DarkHorse: not verified today

We could not read these three prices today, so we are not printing any. OddsJam's subscribe and pricing pages both returned an HTTP 403 error to our reader. Unabated's and DarkHorse's pricing pages loaded with nothing on them but a title. All three publish prices that you can see in a normal browser. We will not quote them from memory or from a review site.

7. Where the competitors are better

Price at the entry tier. Even with the correction, Outlier's annual Premium costs about a third of our Base for the core opportunity feeds.

Book coverage you can check. OddsShopper's page states "Odds From 110+ Sportsbooks" and "Odds For 40+ Leagues." Ours states no book count. Until it does, we lose any comparison on coverage by default, and that is fair.

Live tooling. In-play prices on TrueEdge cost $299.99 a month on Live. OddsShopper lists in-game EV and in-game arbitrage at $149.95 or less.

De-vig choice. Choosing your fair-value method is Live-only for us. OddsShopper lists custom de-vigging, although we could not see which of its plans includes it.

Track record. We have no independent results showing that anyone makes money on TrueEdge numbers. Older tools have years of users who have tested them against the market. And a second straight update with nothing new shipped is a fact a prospective subscriber should know.

8. Who should not switch

The strongest case for staying where you are is that a cheaper tool does the job. Someone on Outlier Premium who uses the +EV list and nothing else is paying about $240 a year for most of what we charge $767.90 for. Switching would be the wrong decision. The same goes for live bettors on OddsShopper who never need a full odds board or betslip links, and for anyone with a long bet history and a set of alert rules on another platform, because rebuilding those has a real cost.

Who we are built for: a bettor who logs every bet and wants it scored against the close, converts sportsbook promos every week, and wants +EV, arbitrage, middles, hedging and promo math in one place for $63.99 a month billed yearly. The 7-day trial is enough time to find out whether you are that bettor. If you are not, cancel before it ends.
