TrueEdge Odds Update, November 5 — A Fourth Quiet Stretch, and What It Costs to See Exchange Prices Next to Sportsbook Lines
Nothing new has reached every TrueEdge surface since our last update. So this edition prices the question this week's exchange news raises. Base plus the exchange add-on is $99.98 on monthly billing, three cents more than OddsShopper Core. Outlier's page says it compares books and prediction markets without naming a venue. OddsJam, Unabated and DarkHorse are "not verified today.

Disclosure: TrueEdge Wire and TrueEdge Odds have the same owner. This is first-party advocacy, not independent testing. Every TrueEdge fact below describes what is deployed on every TrueEdge surface today, taken from our own deployment record. Every competitor price was read from that vendor's own page on November 5, 2026, and each page is linked. Where we could not read a price, we say so.
This column's first item is empty for the fourth update running. Zero merged pull requests and zero subscriber-facing commits have gone live on every surface since our November 3 update.
So the comparison has to carry the piece, and this week's news picks the subject. DraftKings just raised its prediction-market spending to $650 million or more, and that makes one practical question timely. What does it cost, at each tool we can read today, to see exchange prices on the same screen as sportsbook lines, and what do you actually get?
1. What shipped since November 3: nothing a subscriber can see
Our deployment record lists no changes, and we are not going to dress that up. If you read Tuesday's piece, you are current.
One date needs correcting. We wrote on November 3 that the last deploy pin was dated October 25. Our deployment record now shows the API and collector images pinned on October 31. That is a correction to a date in this column. It adds no feature to the list.
2. The TrueEdge way to get exchange prices
On Base, exchange access is a $19.99-a-month add-on. On Live, it is included. Base is $79.99 billed monthly or $63.99 a month billed yearly, $767.90 a year. Live is $299.99 billed monthly or $239.99 a month billed yearly, $2,879.90 a year, per our pricing page.
The add-on puts exchange legs in the feed alongside the sportsbooks and gives access to the exchange venues' order books. The pricing page names Kalshi, Polymarket, Novig and ProphetX and calls the product the Order Book add-on. Depth at each price level is listed as coming soon. Do not buy it expecting bid and ask sizes today.
3. The all-in price against OddsShopper
Base plus the add-on is $99.98 on monthly billing. OddsShopper Core is $99.95, read today. That is a three-cent difference, and the two products are aimed in different directions.
OddsShopper's page lists rows including in-game EV, in-game arbitrage and a Liquidity Tool, and states odds from 110+ sportsbooks and 40+ leagues. Its per-plan checkmarks did not render, so we cannot say which of those start at Core rather than at the $149.95 Pro tier. The rows we could read name no exchange. Base at that same money has no in-play prices at all, since those are a Live feature, and gives you four named exchange venues plus the promo and records tools covered in item 6.
4. The annual price against Outlier
Base plus the add-on is about $1,007.78 a year if the add-on stays monthly-billed, since we have no annual add-on price to quote. That is $767.90 plus twelve payments of $19.99, by our arithmetic.
Outlier sells on upfront annual billing: Premium at $19.99 a month ($239.88 a year), Premium+ at $29.99 ($359.88), and Pro + React Live at $79.99 ($959.88). Its monthly-billed prices did not render. The page says it compares "sports odds across books and prediction markets," without naming a venue or tying the claim to a tier. Assume nothing about coverage until you have opened the trial and looked for the exchange you use.
5. The live comparison
Outlier Pro's React Live companion costs $959.88 a year. TrueEdge's in-play prices sit in Live at $2,879.90. Outlier describes React Live as real-time AI bet signals, live odds and game context. TrueEdge Live includes in-play prices on every screen, real-time streaming with no refresh, sharp books including Pinnacle and Circa, regional books, betslip integration, automatic bet tracking, phone push alerts and a choice of de-vig methods.
Those are not the same products, and the price gap is $1,920.02 a year. A bettor who wants a live-odds companion alongside a +EV feed is overpaying at Live. A bettor whose work depends on sharp prices and streamed in-play numbers may not be, and should test that claim in a seven-day trial.
6. What Base names that these pages do not
Promotions and records. Base includes a promo optimizer covering bonus bets, site credit, second-chance bets, qualifying bets and deposit matches, boost and rebate math, and an offer tracker by state. It also has manual tracking with history-file import, ROI by sport, market, book and month, hand-entered balances, and closing line value on every tracked bet. Alerts run in-app, on Discord or by webhook, with phone push reserved for Live. "Not on a vendor's page" does not prove the vendor cannot do it; we are comparing only what each one chose to sell on the page we read.
7. OddsJam, Unabated and DarkHorse: not verified today
We print no price for these three. OddsJam's subscribe page returned HTTP 403 to our reader. Unabated's page rendered only its title and DarkHorse's only its name. A visible gap is better than a number from a review site.
8. Where the competitors are genuinely better
Entry price. Outlier Premium is about a third of Base on annual billing, and its list includes "Sharp Book Odds," which at TrueEdge wait for Live. It names no sharp book, so we cannot call the two lists equal.
Live access at a mid price. Outlier offers a live-odds companion for $959.88 a year. Our in-play prices have no plan under $2,879.90 a year billed annually.
Published coverage. OddsShopper states 110+ sportsbooks and 40+ leagues. Our pricing page states no count, and we will not supply one.
Liquidity. OddsShopper lists a Liquidity Tool. Our order-book depth is still "coming soon." We have not tested theirs, so the claim here is only that they sell something we have not shipped.
Pace. Four quiet updates in a row are a fair strike against us during the NFL season. We also have no independent evidence that anyone profits using our numbers.
9. The case for staying where you are, and our answer
The strongest argument: a bettor already happy on Outlier or OddsShopper gains little by moving now, and exchange data is an unsettled thing to buy for. The legal ground under these products shifted again this week. A venue you price today may be gone from your state later, and thin exchange markets can make a printed number hard to get filled. We agree that nobody should switch tools for that reason alone.
Our answer is narrow. The add-on makes sense for someone who already trades on one of the four named venues, also works sportsbook promotions, and wants both in one feed for about $100 a month. If you bet in-play, stay on your live tool or trial Live honestly. If you bet only posted +EV, Outlier remains the cheaper first trial. If you need depth at each level today, wait until we ship it.
Here is the test. During a seven-day trial, take the exchange you use most and check the prices in our feed against its own screen on ten open markets. Then note whether any of them changed a bet you would have made. If none did, you do not need to pay for it, on our product or anyone's.
Prices checked November 5, 2026 on each vendor's own page. Tiers and billing terms change often, so confirm before subscribing. Our full first-party comparison is at TrueEdge Odds versus the field.
